Meet The Founder
Hi, I'm Tim Lind
An educator, writing specialist, and mentor with over 20 years of experience helping students become stronger, more confident writers while crafting compelling essays for academic and admissions success.
After years of teaching in both public schools and independent schools, I founded On the Write Track to provide expert writing instruction and personalized support for students navigating the high school and college application process.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students across all grade levels, designing writing curricula, leading application workshops, and helping students develop their unique voices.
As a teacher at top schools in Chicago and Los Angeles, I implemented research-backed writing programs that empowered students to excel in narrative, analytical, and persuasive writing.
In addition to my work in schools, I have spent over a decade as a private tutor, guiding students through the ISEE and ERB, strengthening their writing skills, and helping them craft standout essays in the competitive admissions process.
